What was your event?
Marriage.
Why did you hire Kim over another DJ?
Kim is a friend who I met through the North Shore Women in Business Networking Group. I knew that she would do a fantastic job as a Justice of the Peace or as a DJ. She Married us at the Bunker Hill Memorial Monument in Charlestown MA and did a fantastic job. She took all of our ideas and made the day exactly what we wanted. She is going to DJ our wedding reception, next year, as well. She has already given me all kinds of ideas about what to play when the wedding parties walk and when my husband and I do too. She is full of great ideas!
How did you feel about hiring a female DJ?
I had no problem with that, as I am a working woman myself. I know Kim will be great as a DJ as she was as a Justice of the Peace! She has already taken the time to sit down with me and go through all the details, at length. She is prepared for any and all challenges that could arise.
What was the best part of working with Kim?
We became very good friends through the whole process. She is kind, caring and very knowledgeable about what works best in every scenario. She was extremely thorough and had great ideas about details that I never would have thought of. Also, she incorporated everything that we wanted perfectly!
Can you share one memory of Kim that really stands out?
When I spoke to Kim originally about my relationship, she shared personal experiences of her own that I think helped me understand and wrap my head around the certain circumstances that I was experiencing.
Can you describe working with Kim in one word?
One word is not enough! Kim is PROFESSIONAL, KNOWLEDGEABLE, FUN and COMPETENT. Well, I guess there is one word… FANTASTIC!!!
What would you tell anyone who was considering hiring Kim for their event?
Look no further! She will make your event perfect and help with any miscellaneous things that you may overlook. She helped me with additional vendors for flowers, cake, catering etc. She should be a wedding planner! I can’t thank her enough. HIRE HER!!!!!
